Major Media Networks Unite! The Digital TV Association joins forces with leading national broadcasters to launch proactive marketing communications, reinforcing that “Thai television” remains the country’s most powerful mainstream media platform.

On May 14, 2026, a significant development emerged that could reshape Thailand’s media industry. The Association of Digital Television Broadcasting (Thailand), acting as the industry’s central body, hosted a strategic meeting with the nation’s leading television broadcasters to advance a collaborative marketing communications strategy. The association also strongly reaffirmed that “Thai television remains the country’s most powerful, accessible, and fastest-reaching mass media platform.”

This gathering marked a historic milestone in fostering large-scale cooperation across the broadcasting industry, bringing together top executives and media leaders from major television networks. Participants included Jitsupa Watcharapol, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Thairath TV and Thairath Online; Wiboon Leeratnakajorn, Managing Director of Television Business; and Chakrit Direkwattanachai, Deputy Managing Director of BEC World Public Company Limited or Channel 3HD.

Also attending were Visanee Srisawat, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Broadcasting Company Limited or Workpoint; Dew Voratanggool, Chief Operating Officer of One Thirty One Company Limited or ONE31; Siri Boonpitakkes, President of Amarin Television Company Limited; Pornchai Poonlumlert, Acting President of Bangkok Media and Broadcasting Company Limited; and Nantapan Saengchai, Assistant Director of Mono Broadcast Company Limited. Representatives from GMM25, TNN16, True4U, and 9MCOT HD also joined the meeting.

The key objective of the discussion was to establish a unified and proactive communication direction aimed at strengthening long-term confidence among businesses, advertisers, and audiences nationwide. The participants emphasized that despite the rapidly evolving media landscape, Thailand’s digital television industry continues to offer the most effective solution for mass audience reach while playing a vital role in driving both the country’s economy and society.

This collaboration represents more than just a demonstration of unity within the media industry — it is also a major step toward proving that regardless of how platforms evolve, the “credible content and nationwide accessibility” of Thai television will remain a strong and essential foundation of Thailand’s mass communication industry for years to come.
